Laguna Gateway Inland Container Terminal (LGICT) participated in the second Local Customs Industry Consultative and Advisory Council (CICAC) meeting, where it presented updates on its information and communications technology systems and operational initiatives.
LGICT highlighted improvements in terminal productivity, cargo handling and customer service as well as measures to improve cargo flow and strengthen logistics connectivity in support of the Bureau of Customs' trade facilitation and port decongestion efforts.
The meeting brought together government and industry stakeholders to discuss issues affecting trade and logistics and explore opportunities for closer coordination across the sector.
