Laguna Gateway Inland Container Terminal (LGICT) celebrated its 11th anniversary on January 26 with Laro ng Lahi: Filipino Traditional Games that brought employees together in friendly competition and Filipino cultural traditions.

The games promoted teamwork, sportsmanship and camarederie. Staff were grouped into four teams named after ICTSI values: TapatMatatagMagalang and Sigla. They took part in an Amazing Race–style course that combined physical challenges with problem‑solving and coordination.

The course featured stations inspired by well‑known Filipino games. Teams searched for a missing LGICT flag in Sagisag ng LGICT, kept a sipa in the air in Sipa mo Ipakita mo and jumped over a teammate in Luksong Baka. They spun three times before knocking down a can in Tumbang Preso, flipped a bottle upright in Bote Tumayo and wrapped up the course by eating a polvoron and greeting, “Happy 11th Year LGICT,” in Wakas na Istasyon.

Koponang Matatag (White) won the overall competition.
